All-On-4 Treatment

All-On-Four Treatment and Benefits

All-on-4 implants are a denture alternative which can successfully treat worn, missing or loose teeth, collapsed bite, cross bite and advanced gum disease. They also act as a permanent replacement for conventional dentures.

The technique provides one of the best solutions to replace missing teeth, especially for those who may have insufficient jaw bone and in the past would have needed a bone grafting procedure before traditional implants could be placed.

All-on-4 implants can be placed in sites with heavy disease and bone loss/shrinkage, avoiding the need for any extensive or costly bone grafting procedures.

What are the benefits?

The benefits of implants using our All On 4® and All On 4 Plus® methodology include:

  • Successful treatment – A documented 98 per cent success rate, which is higher than traditional full mouth implant techniques involving bone grafts.
  • Greater functionality – Conventional dentures generally restore only 10 per cent of function, research shows that all-on-4 teeth restore up to 80 percent function in similar evaluations.
  • Simplified treatment process, minimal surgery – Removes the need for bone grafting in most cases, and full mouth teeth replacement is completed in as little as two to four days.
  • Cost savings – The immediate All On 4® surgery and restoration/Implant dentures cost about half the price of alternative techniques (bone grafting and the placement of more than four implants)
  • Fixed (non-removable) – The implant prosthetics are fabricated to be natural in appearance and complementary to your face and smile. They are not removable like dentures and are fixed permanently onto the implants, with no coverage of the roof of your mouth, creating a feel much like natural teeth.
  • Easy maintenance – They are easy to clean and maintain and can be repaired or replaced without surgery
  • Lifestyle benefits– Natural-looking fixed teeth which can tackle all types of foods without discomfort when you bite down or eat. No loose or moving dentures.

How Long Does Treatment Take?

A typical treatment for full teeth replacement involves several visits, with completion within three to four days depending on your circumstances. We will explain your individual treatment plan following your consultation.

How much do All-On-Four Implant Teeth and Dentures Cost?

As treatment is based on your individual requirements, your quote will reflect the recommended approach for your circumstances based on your consultation and assessment. In general, our All On 4® implants and All On 4 Plus® solutions comprise standard procedures providing a more cost effective solution than conventional dental implants.

The cost of All On 4®, All On 4 Plus® or implant dentures for a full mouth reconstruction will also vary depending on your treatment preferences. Some patients may prefer to simply stabilise their dentures rather than having fixed teeth (such as all-on-4 implants), and this can be done at lower cost.

Others may prefer, or their case may be more suited to, other full mouth implant solutions with porcelain or zirconia teeth which may come at a higher cost than the immediate all-on-4 teeth. Contact us for the estimated cost of full mouth teeth implants.

Our quoted fees are inclusive of IV sedation anaesthetic, the surgery and implant placement, as well as the all-on-4 immediate bridge made of cosmetically fabricated high impact acrylic, most often on a milled titanium framework. This comprises the strongest immediate (2-4 day) full mouth implant restoration material possible, and which we have pioneered in Australia.

They are suitable for those who have lost teeth in either the upper or lower jaw, or both.

Treatment may be suitable for you if you have:

  • Diseased teeth or gums or painful teeth
  • Missing teeth
  • Trouble eating or speaking due to decayed or broken teeth
  • Ill-fitting dentures which constantly slip or cause ulcers
  • Failing crown and bridgework
  • Been told you are not a candidate for conventional implants
